# Ruth Calder

Ruth Calder ran the kitchen at the Kilmory Inn for thirty years, feeding shepherds, lost hikers and one very famous fiddler. When she retired she began writing down the stories her guests had told her across the pass. The first became a book; the second is a collection of the letters she never sent.
